It was wonderful to welcome Ed Miliband to Dewsbury yesterday and visit the nursery at Ravensthorpe Community Centre.

On Thursday 8th May, me and Ed Miliband visited the nursery at Ravensthorpe Community Centre to meet with staff, parents and children.  We talked to the parents and staff about the rising cost of childcare and Labour’s pledge to increase free childcare to 25 hours a week for children aged 3 and 4. 

In Dewsbury the cost of childcare has risen 5 times faster than wages.  Labour will tackle this rising cost of living.  Find out what else we’ll do here.
